Every track is fake.
Every label is real.

Falsify is a music app for iPhone and Android. Every track on it is made with AI, and every track shows how it was made: the AI tool, the model, the prompt if the creator shares it, and what a human did. This page has our rules and tells you how to reach us.

Last updated 2 November 2026. If we change these rules in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect.

Terms of use

By using Falsify you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Who can use Falsify

You must be 13 or older. Explicit tracks are shown only to users who confirm they are 18 or older and turn them on in Settings.

Listening

You can listen without an account. You need an account (email code) to like tracks, make playlists, make a playlist from a prompt, upload, or report. Tracks are for personal listening in the app. Do not download, copy or redistribute them unless the creator gives you permission.

What every track is

Every track on Falsify is AI-generated and carries the AI label. The provenance details (tool, model, prompt, human part) are stated by the creator. We check for problems, but we cannot confirm every detail. We never call a track "copyright-free".

Prompt playlists

When you make a playlist from a text prompt, the prompt and track details are sent through OpenRouter to Anthropic (Claude) to pick tracks from our catalog. Do not put personal information in prompts.

Things you must not do

What we can do

We can remove content, limit uploads, or close accounts that break these rules. If we remove your track, we tell you why and how to appeal. The service is provided "as is", and it is free; features can change. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses.

Privacy

What we collect

We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. We do not use your data to train AI models.

Why we use it

To run the app (contract), to keep it safe and stop abuse (legitimate interest), and to meet legal duties such as copyright notices (legal obligation).

Who processes it for us

How long we keep it

As long as your account is open. After you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days. We keep records we must keep for legal reasons (for example copyright notices and repeat-infringer strikes) for up to 3 years.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion, and you can object to processing. Email privacy@falsify.click; we answer within one month. If you are in the UK or EU, you can also complain to your data protection authority.

Creator rules

Anyone with an account can become a creator in the Create tab. When you upload, you confirm three things:

  1. The track was generated with the AI tool you named.
  2. Your plan with that tool allows commercial use and distribution. (Many free plans do not. Tracks made on a "free" or "unknown" plan go to review.)
  3. It does not imitate a real artist's voice, name or likeness, and contains no copyrighted material you do not own.

What you must tell us

The AI tool, the plan you used, and what a human did ("None" is fine). The model and the prompt are optional, and you can keep the prompt private.

Allowed and not allowed

Review

During the beta, every upload is reviewed before it is published. We aim to decide within 48 hours and email you either way. If we reject or remove a track, you can appeal in the Create tab.

Copyright and DMCA

We respond to notices of copyright infringement under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 512). Send notices to our designated agent at dmca@falsify.click.

A notice must include

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. The copyrighted work you say is infringed.
  3. The Falsify track (a link or the track title and creator).
  4. Your name, address, phone number and email.
  5. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.

What we do

When we receive a valid notice, we disable the track within 24 hours and tell the creator. The creator can send a counter-notice (with their name, address, phone, the track, a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake, and consent to the jurisdiction of a US federal court). We forward it to the person who sent the notice. We restore the track 10 to 14 business days later unless they tell us they have filed a court action.

Repeat infringers

Two upheld copyright cases within 12 months: warning and upload suspension. Three: the account is closed. A case that is reversed does not count.

Report a track or creator

In the app, open the track and tap ⋯ → Report. Reasons: copies a real artist, not AI or wrong provenance, offensive, sexual without the explicit flag, spam, other. You can also block a creator to hide all their tracks.

If you cannot use the app, email support@falsify.click with the track title and creator. For copyright claims by the rights owner, use the DMCA process.

Delete your account

In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account. Deletion starts at once.

Without the app: email privacy@falsify.click from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my Falsify account". We confirm by email and delete within 30 days.

What is deleted: your account, settings, likes, playlists, play history and, for creators, your tracks and files. What we keep: records we must keep by law (copyright notices and strikes) for up to 3 years.
